Pastor John and Dina Phipps has been in the ministry for over 10 years. John has served the Lord as a youth pastor and as a senior pastor. Just over two years ago, the Lord began speaking to him to start a new congregation in central Tucson that would:

1. Have a burden for the lost

2. Love people unconditionally

3. Grow spiritually by learning the Word of God

4. Welcome people with disabilities

Pastor John and his wife Dina have two beautiful boys named, Weston and Montgomery. Both boys have been diagnosed with autism and have many challenges. God gave Pastor John the vision to plant a church named "Father's Heart" that will provide a worship service that incorporates typical people and challenged people together.

The name "Father's Heart" has a double meaning, it originates from the love God has for us as our Father, but also the love that Pastor John has for his two little boys.
